Completed while interning at Caliber Creative.A new business is brewing in Deep Ellum, an arts and entertainment district near downtown in east Dallas, Texas. In 1991 the area had 57 different bars, night clubs, in addition to restaurants, tattoo parlors, other diverse retail shops, and an increasing amount of high-rent residential loft space. Unfortunately crime increased, many popular businesses began closing, and it seemed as if Deep Ellum was dead, but the locals wouldn't let it. Some previously popular businesses were reopened by musicians, an influx of artists opened galleries and studios, and now Dallas' most authentic, artistic, historic district is getting its own brewery. The identity is meant to capture a bit of everything: the hand-crafted, the edgy, the music, and the local spirit.

Dallas has pretty much everything but its own brewing company, so naturally the minds behind Deep Ellum Brewing chose the city's dirtiest, most authentic, artistic, and creative district to inspire their hand-crafted brews. Completed while interning at Caliber Creative. www.calibercreative.com

Long Now Foundation Branding
"The Long Now Foundation was established in 01996 to creatively foster long-term thinking and responsibility in the framework of the next 10,000 years."
The goal was to give the foundation an appearance of moving forward in a slow and thoughtful manner. In addition, a campaign was designed to reach out to the higher level student community on campuses around the United States and the rest of the world.

BeautiControl Branding
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yet cosmetic
companies continue to tell women that they need their products in order to be beautiful.
BeautiControl is a multi-level marketing company, similar to MaryKay and Avon, that allows women to host parties and sell their cosmetics to directly to other women. This process can become very personal, and although women that go to these events know why they are there, they do not want someone else to tell them that they need products to be beautiful.

ARPA is a concept product & interface that fuses together the IKEA model of furniture assembly & the do-it-yourself mentality inspired by the Home Depot. It allows the user to digitally interact with their real-world environments while planning their projects with the patented augmented reality technology.

Shack Up Inn Identity
Located on Hopson Plantation in Clarksdale, MS, a few miles from the crossroads of Highway 49 and 61. The Shack Up Inn is a unique motel, virtually unchanged from when it was a working plantation. The grounds are home to authentic sharecropper shacks, the original cotton gin, seed houses, and other outbuildings.
